Photography at Rosetta Art Centre enables you to gain a thorough understanding of how photography can be used artistically. Our courses allow you to explore how photography is used within a fine art or documentary context rather than a commercial one.

All of the courses involve looking at and discussing photographs created by established artists and photographers, as well as enabling you to develop your skills and experiment with the medium.

Our darkroom facilities allow you to explore and experiment with traditional photographic techniques such as photograms, chemigrams, film processing, enlarging from negatives, and a variety of other creative darkroom techniques. Digital photography is also taught with DSLR cameras and Adobe Photoshop.
