We run residential art courses at Debden House, set in the beautiful surroundings of Epping Forest. Courses generally cover a weekend and can be booked as a complete package with tuition, catering and accomodation.

In September 2010 we ran 'Drawing Into The Forest'. During this intensive and dynamic course students will focused on sketchbook techniques using rapid mark-making in response to the forest to capture a ‘sense of place’.

Students were encouraged to draw with objects and materials found in the Forest and many more explorative techniques. They also made larger drawings with various dry media indoors, further developed with various collage effects.

This year we will be running 'Drawing with Colour'. Details will appear here once confirmed so check back soon for further information and to book a place, as spaces on the residential courses are very limited.
