The Beatles mosaic produced by Adults with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (ALDD)

March 2012 – May 2012

Since the year 2000, the Adults with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities or ALDD group had met in Tower Hamlets on a weekly basis to engage in arts and crafts activities. When their space was no longer available to them and they were looking for another suitable venue, Rosetta Arts gave them a home where they have continued classes ever since.

The large scale Beatles mosaic on display in the corridor of Rosetta Arts was produced in 2012 during a series of classes led by Newham based artist and musician Alan Read who’s passion and love for music and especially the Beatles plus students inspired the subject.
