Story of an Artist: Ebenezer Sogunro

Ebenezer Sogunro is a talented young artist who joined Rosetta Art Centre in 2012, as an apprentice arts administrator. Ebenezer was responsible for all student administration general office duties, and assisting the management team. While at Rosetta, Ebenezer joined our painting classes and was an active member of the Young Newham Artists project. Through Rosetta Art Centre he trained as a creative facilitator and delivered art workshops at various events, including The Newham Mayor’s show in Central Park.

After successfully completing his apprenticeship. Ebenezer has gone on to complete an internship at the Tate Modern’s Regeneration and Community Partnerships Department. He has been an active member of the Youth Forum at the National Portrait Gallery and is currently a member of Peer Outreach Team, a part of the Greater London Authority. He is also Director of Cally Munchy an African & Caribbean fast food restaurant and will be collaborating with the Humble Gallery for our very first Supper Club Event to be hosted in February 2017!
